Brașov → Also known as Kronstadt or Corona, the city is the preferred destination for thousands of tourists every year due to the tourist attractions it offers. It is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful cities in Romania, and we invite you to explore it with us.
Council Square (Piața Sfatului) → In the Middle Ages, this square in Brașov hosted fairs for Saxon and Hungarian merchants as well as traders from other parts of Romania. Each merchant had to display their goods in designated spots, while city officials ensured these places were respected. Located in the old town, the square served as a commercial, social, and cultural hub of the city for several centuries.
Council House (Casa Sfatului) → This is the building where all major decisions were made and also served as a medieval tribunal. Death sentences were pronounced here, and the condemned were executed by different methods depending on their social status. Wealthy individuals were beheaded, ordinary thieves were hanged, and witches were burned at the stake.
Black Church (Biserica Neagră) → The Black Church in Brașov is the most photographed building in Romania, which is no surprise. Its grand construction and over six centuries of history make this edifice a true symbol of the city. To imagine its size, consider that it is the largest Gothic-style church in all of Southeast Europe. It also houses the largest bell in the country and the largest mechanical organ in Romania!
Sforii Street (Strada Sforii) in Brașov → The narrowest street in Brașov, whose walls you can almost touch by spreading your arms. Legend has it that during medieval times, couples would hide here to kiss in privacy. Young lovers whose parents opposed their relationship also hid here. A legend passed down through the years says that couples who kiss on Sforii Street will remain together for life.
Bran Castle → Discover one of Romania’s most popular castles, visited by both Romanian and foreign tourists. The legend of Dracula is the most famous story created around a castle. Dracula, the character from the novel of the same name by Irish author Bram Stoker, is a Transylvanian count who owns a castle built atop a high rocky peak, overlooking the winding valley of the river in Transylvania.
Peleș Castle → We invite you to discover both its historical and artistic value. It is one of the most important monuments in Romania and Europe. The castle is built on the royal domain of Sinaia, land purchased by Prince Carol in 1872 after he fell in love with the magnificent mountain scenery. By the end of the 19th century, Peleș Castle was among the most modern royal residences in Europe, featuring electricity, an internal lift, and central heating. The castle boasts an impressive artistic heritage, including collections of stained glass, furniture, and weapons, some dating back to the 15th century.
Ialomița Cave → Known also as Ialomița Hermitage Cave, Schitul Ialomiței Cave, or Ialomicioarei Cave, it is one of the most famous caves in Romania, located in the Bucegi Mountains. Hermits were living at the Ialomița springs as early as the 15th century, and the Ialomița Monastery was built in the same century, right at the entrance of the cave. Here, we will visit the old hermitage, the Bear Hall, Decebal Hall, and can quench our thirst with the purest water from the Living Water Spring.
Bucegi Mountains, Bolboci Lake → Probably the most well-known mountains in Romania among tourists who love hiking, mountain treks, and winter sports. Once you reach the heart of the Bucegi, the joy and satisfaction grow as you discover this oasis of tranquility and coolness where Bolboci Lake is hidden. Located in a visually stunning area, far from blocks and crowds, Bolboci Lake welcomes visitors year-round without any entrance fee. Situated in the heart of Bucegi, between Tătarului Gorge and Zărnoaga Gorge, it is nicknamed the “Sea of Bucegi” because it stretches across the entire horizon.
